Gracie Shaddox

President

Hi!! My name is Gracie Shaddox, and I serve as President of the Beta Omega chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha! I am a senior Biology major on a Pre-Med track from Nashville, TN. Beta Omega has given me a strong community of women that are intentional and love each other well, which has been such an encouragement during my college years! Since being in Zeta, I have grown as a leader and have been motivated to reach my full potential, which I am so grateful for! As President, I am responsible for overseeing all chapter operations and other leadership positions in Beta Omega, striving to lead my chapter in a Christ-centered way. I am so thankful to call Zeta my home and to have the privilege to lead these amazing women!

Maddy Piefer

Hi!! I'm Maddy, a senior applied linguistics major from Bolivar, TN! The primary role of the VPI is to plan and coordinate a strong, well-balanced chapter program, relevant to the needs and desires of the chapter. As VPI, I serve as the chair of Program Council (PC) and act as a liaison between PC and EC. My favorite part of my position is building relationships and spending time with members of PC! They keep things interesting and fun, and they are the definition of a great team! They are truly exceptional people, and I feel so honored that they are a part of my ZTA story and that I get to be a part of theirs!“

Ashley Holloway

Hey, I'm Ashley Holloway a senior elementary education major!! As VP II, I am so blessed to get the opportunity to work alongside our new members and prepare them for a lifetime in ZTA! It is my responsibility to walk each girl through the new member process from Bid Day through initiation. This position allows me to get to know each new member in such a special way and see firsthand how our new sisters grow in all areas of life. I am so excited to welcome new Zetas into our chapter!

Imani Sewell

Hey, I'm Imani Sewell a senior elementary education major !! I’m Beta Omega’s vice president of membership! I deal with all things membership including all things recruitment and membership retention. I also have two committees which works towards reaching girls both in and out of our chapter so that they know they are loved and that they belong! Even though recruitment season is very stressful for me and beta omega chapter, I am so excited to see what amazing women God is going to bring home as a part of pc’23! ZLAM forever !”

Emily Mackie

Historian

Hi, I am Emily Mackie a senior nursing major from Hillsdale, MI. As Historian for Beta Omega I get to do all things social media!! I get the opportunity to run the Zeta instagram, tik tok, update the Beta Omega website, and plan photoshoots!! My position bridges the gap between Zetas presence in person and online. I absolutely love being historian because it allows me to be creative and involve everyone in the chapter in a unique way! I love the challenge to find new ways to show Zeta's values and to show our sisterhood as it really is! This position gives me an opportunity to know each girl in our chapter and I love that !

Anna Hayes

Academic

Hello! I'm Anna Hayes a senior cell and molecular biology major! As academic chair, I am responsible for encouraging our chapter to reach their full academic potential. This position allows me to foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for each sister. I am a resource for each sister on time management skills, developing good study habits as well as to connect them with older sisters in their major as academic mentors!!!

Catie Palmer

Treasurer

Hey!! I'm Catie a senior elementary education major! The treasurer deals with all things money, which includes managing member dues and chapter spending!! I help create budgets for each position and help make sure we stay in that budget. This position has not only taught me so many life lessons but it has also given me the opportunity to get to know so many girls in the chapter better!

Alyssa Schwindt

Risk Management

Hey, I'm Alyssa Schwindt a junior social work major from Jackson, TN!! Risk chair does a number of different things but my main priority is the safety and well-being of the girls in the chapter! i help to encourage our girls to live up to their fullest potential! In addition to keeping people safe I also work with different chairs to ensure fun and safe events for the chapter! Risk chair gets to love on the chapter in a very personal way!!

Cierra Cook

Panhellenic Delegate

I'm Cierra Cook a junior nursing major from Holland, MI! The panhellenic delegate is in charge of communication between Zeta and the other sororities on campus. I love this position because it’s given me the opportunity to get to know women in the other organizations better and strengthen the bond between all of the women in greek life! Through events like panhellenic gala, pumpkin painting, and the panhellenic picnic, we are able to come together as a community and get to know each other better!

Kara Montgomery

Secretary

Hey Y’all, I'm Kara a junior cell and molecular biology major! Recording Secretary gets to have a hand in almost everything involving the chapter! I have the honor and privilege to create and hold chapter bylaws, be responsible for attendance and excuses, and to communicate/record important details to the chapter and nationals. In addition, I get to create the chapter calendar, assist all officers in their reports, and to hold/organize the chapter files. I love being Recording Secretary because I get to interact with absolutely everyone in our chapter and even with other sisters at nationals! I truly get to know each girl in our chapter, their heart to make us better, and am personally able to help make their Zeta experience fit/benefit their life at Union and beyond! Serving Zeta in this position has been one of the highlights of my college career! I love my sisters, this chapter, and being able to know each of my sisters on a more personal level!”

Ritual

Hi!! My name is Emily Mackie and I serve as Beta Omega’s Ritual Chair for fall 2023! I am a senior, nursing major from Hillsdale, Michigan. As ritual chair, my job is to make sure all rituals are done on time and performed correctly. I also get to share the importance of our rituals with the chapter and new members because ritual is the one thing that ties all zeta chapters together. Zeta Tau Alpha has become my home over such a short time and I know the friendships I have made will last a lifetime. Zeta has been the most rewarding experience of college and taught me so many valuable lessons that I will carry throughout life. ZLAM!!
